MSRM US300 WiFi Range Extender 300Mbps Wireless WiFi Repeater for 360 Degree WiFi Covering

The extender was very easy to set up and everything went well initially but I then had issues connecting to the internet ( even though it was connected to my wireless modem router). I think the problem was on my end with my modem router. When I added an intelligent Netgear Nighthawk router the extender immediately allowed me to connect to it and the internet connection was resolved. Not sure why but it worked!Now it is set up I have to say I am impressed. My wireless connection in the basement is a lot stronger now and I appreciate the ergonomics of this extender; it is small and does not have ugly antennas sticking out of it. You do not notice it.My only concern with the purchase experience was the quality of the customer service dealing with my original connectivity issues. I noticed my email was being sent to an Asian destination and the responses I got were extremely basic, and seemingly automated replies with poor English translations. Only communication method was email. If you have issues do not expect MSRM to help you solve them, you're on your own.Had I not resolved the internet connectivity issue I would have given 1star but I really do like this product, and the price was very reasonable.I also see from other buyers that they did not have the same issues with internet connectivity as I did so for I would still recommend trying it.

Setup was very simple. Signal strength is awesome. I don't even notice any loss of speed from my normal router. I had about 4 devices connect to it at the same time with no problem.The only slightly annoying thing is the plug is not as close to the top as possible. If you plug this into the bottom outlet, the top isn't as usable anymore unless you have a tiny plug. Plus it doesn't have a 3 prong plug which makes it slightly easier for a kid to get to and knock out, but not an issue if you just put it higher.Important thing to note: once you set it up in repeater mode, you can't go back in and edit the settings (or at least I couldn't). You'll have to hold the reset button for 10 seconds and go through the setup process again. The setup is really easy so this isn't too big of a hassle.

Very easy to set up! I had it set up in just a few minutes and used it right away. Our router is at the opposite end of our house from the bedroom, so we weren't getting any wi-fi signal in there, but this fixed it. Just make sure that you do not put it too far from your router. Ours is about 50 feet or so (and the signal also has to travel through two walls in that 50 feet and does so just fine).

I have a VR android wifi head set . I couldn't get the apps to run properly because my wifi was to slow. Plugged the extender in the wall , easy setup from my ipad and now the apps run great. I can say it deffinitly works. You have to sign into your device you are going to use to the name of the msrm wifi name, which would be your wifi name with the name "plus" at the end. Example , frankenstien-plus if frankenstien is the name of your netwotk.

* Awesome design - I owned a previous model of same company, but had antennas which got hit (with coat, bags etc) when passing by.* Very powerful - I can watch Netflex and Amazon Videos on my PS3 in bedroom. Main router is located on above floor a few room opposite direction through concrete walls.* Very easy set-up - I like the option to change the name of the repeater to one's own liking.* No need to access PC or router, do any extra wiring. This is ideal if your neighbor provides you with his WiFi as you already know the password.

We used this to extend my wifi signal from internet satellite to my son's home next door, we were amazed at how well it works, he gets 4 full bars..exactly the same as I get and it was very easy to hook up to our router.

I am an old guy and the directions did not work for me. I have it plugged in a electrical socket but it does not seem to work as a extender for my wifi?

Not quite the range I was hoping for, below my expectations. Buy a wider range extender. Installation was precise and easy,you pay for what you get in performance
