Sebring Convertible Top and Heated Glass Window | 1996-2006 | Color Choice | Installation Video

The top is of good quality. But heres the problem. The top comes in 2 pieces, the rear glass and the top cover. The rear glass has an alignment mark so you can align the trim stick. That mark was correct. Now the top cover instead of an alignment mark there was alignment holes, 2 holes on top and 2 holes on the bottom meaning the top holes are where the top edge of the trim stick goes and the bottom 2 are the bottom edge of the trim stick would go. I followed these instructions per the video instructions and the top would not close. The holes were atleast 1.5 inches higher than they were supposed to be. This caused me a lot of problems to say the least as I had to remove/ lower the trim stick reattached the top atleast 5 times per side, passenger and driver side trim stick to try and get the correct fit/ take out all the imperfections to make the top look smooth without any wrinkled lines. Took me 2 FULL DAYS WITH A HELPER from 8:00AM to 6:00PM to get this top aligned correct. What I suggest to the seller is to verify alignment marks on both tops before packaging. I would not buy this product again because of it. A little about me, I'm a mechanic for 6 years, I repair on average 10-25 cars per week, these cares require anywhere from basic maintenance to head gasket, transmission replacement, electrical shorts, diagnostics, light duty diesel engine repair Etc Etc Etc. I rate this top Extremely difficult to install, mainly because the alignment marks are not in the right place.

This isn't an easy install, but the video made it possible (I consider myself pretty handy, and am an engineer by trade). The product itself is well made and looks great installed. The price was awesome and the shipping was quick.If you plan to install this yourself, watch the video at least twice before you start, then step by step as you do the actual install. This prevents having to go back and RE-do some of the install, which at certain points can be pretty tough

After reviewing the how to video we decided to have an auto interior company install the top. I got a phone call from the company stating that the top was cheaply made. He stated that the plastic bars that are attached to the top were not strong enough and that he had to remove the bars and use the bars from the original top. He stated that the material that the top is made out of is not the best. It took him so much longer that expected so the cost to have it installed was higher. He also had an issue with the window.

Fit perfect great job

Absolute pain to install, but was worth it in the end. Plan at least 4-6 hours if you're installing it by yourself. Recommend enlisting a friend to help.

Its a leap of faith to lign up the two pieces (including the back) then stapling before the top us put on... if done right it looks amazing!
