Very sturdy mat - very pleased!
We needed this large mat (6βx10β) to use a sit to stand lift to move me from bed to the commode and my power chair - it was too difficult to use on low pile carpet. It was expensive, but exceeded our expectations on quality and sturdiness! It laid flat as soon as it was unrolled (heed the warning sticker regarding caution when releasing from its binding, because it does POP open). It was shipped from TN and arrived a day earlier than expected.

Long Lasting and Crazy Durable!
I bought one of these bad boys back in 2017 to help protect the carpet in an apartment i was moving in to.. I put an area rug over it, so I had no idea what was going on under there. I am almost 400 pounds and have sat at my pc every day for varying amounts of time. So today, when I finally moved my desk and lifted up the area rug to see what was underneath, the dang thing looks brand new! not even a scratch on it. Color me impressed, I had to go back and look at my previous orders just to review it HA

The perfect mat (for me, and maybe for you too!!!)
I got the large size 48" x 60", to replace my smaller one (which was too small -- I kept rolling off it). This one is awesome -- no more roll-offs! And no frustrating "de-rolling" process -- it lays flat as soon as you free it from its packaging. And it's polycarb, so it should last. All in all, perfect!!

60 x 80!
This was the only piece I could find with those dimensions and I needed them for a futon couch that had drawers underneath the front. We had an ancient shag carpet which made it really difficult to pull those drawers out. Now, the couch easily slides forward to recline the futon and the drawers slide easily. I recommend watching the video on how to unwrap it, though. You don't want it to burst open, and break something nearby or hit you in the face. Keep it tight in your hands on both sides and let it open slowly.

Get it!
This was just what I was hoping it was. There are no dents. the chair glides smoothly.

First one lasted 5 years with heavy use -- on to the next one!
I bought this five years ago for my desk mat on low pile carpet. It lasted 5 years but had started to yellow and crack, so I ordered a new one. Looking forward to another five years on this one. :)I'm a big guy and at my desk most of the day, so it's very durable!

NOT for high-pile carpets
This mat sinks deep into my high-pile carpet when weight is applied. This causes it to interrupt chair movements, and it migrates slowly to the right of my desk. I have to readjust it every couple days. It's too flexible and the teeth aren't long enough for truly high-pile carpet. I wish I could return it or get my money back but it was too inconvenient as I didn't keep the box.

Not as Great as the Product Description Sounds
I didn't expect a $100 chair mat to perform like a $300 one. And it certainly doesn't.The product description says "The transparency of this mat allows your flooring to show through - it won't look intrusive in your home or office." This is a little misleading, it is the same frosted semi-transparent material as other mats. I had thought maybe it was clear or nearly clear based on that description. Yes, the color of the carpet shows through, but it's not really transparent and doesn't do much to hide itself. The product description also says "Chair wheels will not sink into this polycarbonate mat under normal use." Already in the first days, I see indents developing, and I have a 5-wheel chair. It is the hard polycarbonate, but it's really thin material and it's definitely not going to hold up very long before it starts getting indents that will make it hard to roll smoothly over. So, overall, yeah it's better than the super-cheapy mats, but I don't think it's worth $100 for the 48 x 60 inch size. I guess when the indents get bad enough that it pisses me off daily, I'll invest in one of thick office-quality polycarbonate clear mats for $300+ like I should have in the first place. My bad.
