It's great if you need just one light strip, but if you need to cut the 5 meter strip into 2 or 3 pieces, there are no good connectors that I could find, and I couldn't ask the manufacturer for a recommendation. They would greatly increase their sales if they thought about such details and sold them themselves.The first controller I bought with a light strip was unable to connect to my local area network. The vendor was very helpful and quickly supplied a coupon for a free controller replacement which works fine. The comments above are only if you need to do unusual things like I did - split the strip so I could illuminate above and below the wall cabinets. If you're doing a single run, this has all you need.Good vendor to work with.

got two, both are awesome!! wish i could figure out how to get the same phone to make both sets blink at once, but fortunately i have an extra phone so i can make it happen! :)

Not even 12 hours into use, the lights will not reconnect to any bluetooth. They are now stuck in one setting and I have no control over them besides pulling the plug from the outlet on my wall.
