Only it can hang down, the keyboard will be supported by the rest. **Q: Will this fit a new Surface Pro 8? I guess it’s a question of the cut outs for the ports etc.?** A: I don't believe it will. The on/off and volume control buttons are on the side and not on the top as in the Pro 7.
