Snowmen, Quilt, Winter Quilt, Embroidered Quilt, Embroidered Snowmen, Patchwork Snowmen I love snowmen! When I found this snowman fabric I had no idea what I'd make with it. Well you can see I figured it out and added MORE snowmen in the making. Each row has not only one or two of the cotton-fabric snowmen, but one or two of my embroidered snowmen. Some people think snowmen are only for Christmas. I totally disagree - snowmen are for winter-ALL WINTER. They make me happy. They remind me of those wonderful winter days when my boys were young and we would build a snowman. We would dress them up with hats, scarves, branches, lumps of coal a real carrot nose - everything we could think of. Wonderful memories - I hope you have some of those also. This quilt measures about 60" x 94". The top is 100% cotton, batting is a cotton/polyester blend, and the pale sage green backing is polyester. The background is a pale shaded cream/tan/gold snowflake design. I made the sashing in red, green and blue. The binding is blue.
