Not for the casual wrench
Overall, it's a good unit finished.. BUT, directions were outdated. Does not fit 2010 softail without modification if the alt basket has a welded hub. My factory bike did, I modify all the time o figure out it needed to be cut off and could make it work. Directions said a new part from Harley would be needed to the tune of $200.. At any rate, called the tech line and he agreed it would work as I modified so wasn't our the money, just a hassle. Clutches are noisy at idle as the rattle in the basket but adjustment minimized that. The old slam shift is gone with the belt absorbing the engagement. Overall, nothing in terms of other kits to compare to so I'm just saying what mine was like. Sits out really nice, glad I didn't settle for a 2" belt kit.
