I used this leaf skimmer after a windy afternoon, and it picked up leaves, bugs, and small debris with ease. The adjustable aluminum pole made it easy to reach every corner of my above-ground pool without bending over. The medium fine mesh is sturdy and catches even tiny particles while still moving smoothly through the water. It's lightweight, well-built, and also works great for cleaning my hot tub. Excellent quality and a huge time-saver—I highly recommend it!

This skimmer works awesome! The only thing that goes through it is WATER! I bought it to get the little black gnats that normally pass right through my standard skimmer but this certainly does the job! My pool has never been cleaner and it has a nice basket shape which catches and holds everything from bugs, leaves and pine needles! I also use it to skim the pool bottom in between vacuums and it works like a charm as well. I usually just keep the pole short and skim while I’m in the pool. But it’s nice to have the extra extenders in case I want to skim from the deck above. I’m very pleased with this purchase and I think it’s well worth the cost!

Well made. The handle has several pieces so it can be made to different lengths. The netting is very good and works well to remove debris.

The 5 Foot Ultra Fine Mesh Pool Spa Leaf Skimmer is a good quality fine net and it does a good job of picking up the very small gnats that gather at the top of the pool. The handle could be improved, the base piece is secured in the net and must be pushed up to connect and it contains a plastic button rather than metal which means it doesn't hold well and the net will twist and turn since it isn't securely fastened in this area. I may cut it out to see if the next section will connect to the net. Part of the pole that I received was bent, this made it awful hard to get it to go together. The net is larger/deeper, as my family says, it is more of a butterfly net. I was hoping for a flat net since those don't tend to fly in the wind. Overall, it works, but it could sure be made better.

I wish I'd bought this sooner! I love that it's lightweight and that I can decide the length. I only use end extension and walk around the pool and skim the surface. Also, the angle on the rim of the skimmer rake is just right to put on the bottom surface of the pool in front of you and walk around and pick up tree debris. It also has a fine mesh that picks up everything and the slack on the net is just right to hold everything. I only wish the pole was the same thickness as my other pool supplies but the slimmer pole works better with my smaller hands so I really can't complain. So happy with this purchase!

Great at getting everything you don't want in your pool out!! Light weight and durable!! Its a great price and does the job well!!

Flimsy for a pool whale product. Lasted about a year

This was just what I needed for my extremely large outdoor pond. The handle is adjustable, so I don't have to walk around while using it. It's made well and I can see it lasting a good while if you don't leave it out in the sun. Makes getting leaves and debris out. Great purchase and clean pond.
