HOWK Men's Chronograph Watches Date Analog and Blue Luminous Dial Black Leather Strap

I bought this watch because it was in my "Cheap Quartz Watches" List and there was a lightning sale, so I only paid $15.99 for it.I prefer automatic/mechanical watches, but can't afford a collection of high end watches, that honestly I would probably worry about wearing out and about. So, I am willing to buy some of the nicer looking (cheap) quartz watches. I haven't actually seen an expensive quartz watch that I would shell out for, because at those prices I would rather have an automatic or mechanical.I liked the reviews, dial, and over all look of this watch, so I put it on my list. No big surprises. It feels like a typical cheap quartz, light and hollow, tinny, compared to automatics and mechanicals. I was expecting that, especially at this price point. I bought it to add variety to my collection for a cheap price.I really do like the contrast of the sub-dials with the dial face, but I wasn't expecting how hard (near impossible if you are over 40) it would be to see the sub-dial hands, even with my readers on. I honestly can't see them, and if you look carefully at the posted pictures by others, you will notice this, which I didn't, LOL!The date windows is small and positioned where it easily gets lost on the face. I actually forgot it was there until I looked at the pictures on Amazon again.I was going to give the watch 3 stars, but honestly its not a bad watch for the price, and I have and will wear it for variety sake, so I don't want anyone thinking that it is not worth even the normal $20 price tag. Just be aware it looks cool, and you can tell the time, but most likely you won't be getting any use from the sub dials and will have to squint to read the date.At one point, I had considered buying the black dial with the yellow sub-dial hands, but I have more black faced watches and wanted a blue faced one, otherwise that would probably have been the better choice.It's a cool little watch.12/2016 - I noticed in November, while wearing the watch that it was slow. I reset it, and have noticed that it is continuing to run slow, and losing time. Probably just needs a new battery, but since I just bought this watch a little over a month ago, I am going to remove another star. None of my other "value" quartz watches have had battery issues, and some were ordered prior to this one. I really wanted to like this watch, but I am beginning to think . . .

For a very cheap in price watch it certainly looks far more expensive and with a Japanese quartz movement it keeps good time. I did not buy it for actual chronograph use, however, it does work but the hands are small and it would not be my first choice if that was my intended function. One con is that the strap is small. I have small to average wrist size and the strap just fits. If you have a large wrist you will need a larger strap.I was at a dinner function and I asked people around the table to guess at the price....most thought $500 when in fact it was $19.99. Will it last? Will have to wait and see, so far so good after 1 month.

Looks nice, feels nice, is very quiet. Keeps time fairly well and the Chrono works.Color isn't accurate, as seen in the photo, the inner dials have the same color as the rest of the face which is a very dark blue. The color was important to me, hence the 3 stars.Not sure about the mineral glass, as I've already gotten a scratch on it after two months of very infrequent wearing. Scratch is visible over the dial at the 3 O'clock position.

Very nicely designed, attractive and gift box is great. The extra dials are easily operated and work well. The dial is a little small and the hands and numbers do not glow in the dark as one would expect. Also the band is very short so be careful if you have large wrists this watch may not be a choice for you. Overall, for the price this is a good product and I would recommend it.

Very nice watch for the price, easy to set and easy to use. The functions are straight forward and easy to see. The strap is good quality also. The only thing that I found is that in some lighting the face doesn't look as blue as the photo, and that was part of the appeal.

Watch is good, however the band is cheap and already falling apart a couple of uses. However, it looks great. For the price you really can't find a better watch.

I'm very surprised and happy with the HOWK watch I purchased on Amazon. I was a bit skeptical thinking just how good could it be for such a low price. I must say that it's everything I had hoped for. Great looks, everything works and it keeps great time. Light weight so it doesn't feel like your wearing anything. A good watch that looks 10x the price.

Item arrived in box as described but watch was terribly cheap. The watch band looked obviously fake, the crown felt shamefully loose, and the chronograph didn't work. The chronograph buttons felt loose and poorly connected. I immediately returned it, it is not a well made watch. A decent Timex is a few dollars more and definitely worth it.
