High Times

Dro is back, and it took TI long enough to bring him back out. Great beats and cold rhymes is what you expect from him, and he didn't disappoint. Good riding music!

After years of putting in work on the mix tape scene Dro finaly makes his full-length album return with High Times. One thing that Dro fans can appreciate is that he always gives you a new look, just when you thought you've heard it all in terms of his flow he can switch it up a bit. Some of the stand out tracks "Hammer Time, Nope, FDB and I'm Cold," hit hard! This one will not disappoint.

Its a good not great album. Dro is back but some of the beats are a little subpar. He is still a very entertaining listen and he can actually rap in more than one speed and tone. Dro doesnt do what his peers do which is refreshing. His orignality is what makes him a standout I'm hiphop. Check Djuan and Spodee as well as hammertime and of course FDB! Its a great reintroduction for the one and only young dro

Definitely worth the download. Young Dro delivers some of his best lyrics in this album. With Rap music becoming more and more commercial this album is far from that.

As a true Young Dro fan, I enjoyed listening to this cd. It isn't what I expected as a comeback album but it has many great songs.

Heard G.D.O.D. & Day Two mixtpaes...I was like "Yeah! Dro is back on his lyrical slaughter/wordsmith rhymes, that had his tracks bumping in my car, 7-8yrs ago." I didn't get that, from this album. I listened to it twice, to make sure. Some of the beats, like "power up," I thought he was going to DESTROY!..He didn't.The entire album was SADLY "alright."I'll give it another listen, but most of these songs will not make my itunes cut, as of now.

Young Dro put some real production into this cd forreal..... The cover is awsome and the title seems to go perfect with he is rapping about....
