Who Says That, Cat the Cat? Board book – August 26, 2014

I was looking for board books to read to my daughter and discovered this. I ordered it without knowing the contents. Fortunately, it did not disappoint. My daughter loves cats and likes this book a lot. It is also fun to read (a plus when you are reading a book for the 50th time). It is a short and sweet book. Cat the Cat has four friends: hound, chick, cow, and bunny. She talks to each friend ("Hound the hound, what's your sound?") and they respond with their sound until it gets to the bunny, which is fun to try to imitate. In the end they all hug.

As a teacher, I love Mo Willems. While Cat the Cat is much simpler than his other characters, that is by design- these books are perfect for pre-readers. My one-year-old loves this series. (And you can now differentiate for siblings!)

My 14 month old loves this book and loves to make the sounds. It is adorable, and short so it isn't super annoying to read over and over!

I bought this for my 6 month old. Mo Willems never disappoints! This book is fun for both of us. I highly recommend!

My 11 month old has loved this book for months now! If he hears me reading it he comes running from the other room. It is the only thing that gets him to sit down for more than a couple of seconds. The pictures are simple so they aren't overwhelming. He loves seeing and hearing the different animals.

Great for toddlers With short attention span....you can turn the pages really fast and the pages aren't over busy....wish they had more than just three animals and sounds in the book.

Great book for little ones.

Adorable! Cute with a twist of humor, like most Mo Willems stories.
