The Claw Toy Grabber Machine w/ LED Lights

This claw machine is so much fun!! I spent so much time before Christmas reading all of the different reviews about this machine. I decided to take a chance based off of the good reviews. We have loved it!! Yes the knobs need to be handled carefully, as well as the claw, but it has been sturdy enough for my family. I have five kids and it has been played with a lot!! My husband and I purchased it as a "just for fun" gift for the kids for Christmas. It was a hit! If it is played on the carpet then the music is not too loud at all. We did unscrew the whole blue top off to get the wrapping off of the claw before the first use but that was no big deal. This was worth the price. It has taught patience to my kids as they have had to try, try again to get the candy but it has also taught them how to strategize and have perseverance. They have all got it down now. My kids are between the ages of 6-15. I would definitely recommend this! It is a must have and so much fun! Worth every penny I spent.

I purchased for our grandson for his birthday. Put some items that were 2 inches or less that I also purchased on Amazon into the machine. My grandson loved it. I also got some mini candy bars and little containers to hold money or stickers on amazon to place in the CLAW. My grandson, age 8, and his sister and friend, age 11, just played for hours with it. Its been several months now and they still play with it. Made well. Some reviews said the music was loud and didn't turn off. There is a switch that reduces the noice level and an off switch for the music. The music is fun and as the time is about up it gets faster and the excitement and urgency builds. The claw (like all claw machines) doesn't pick up everything, but that is part of the challenge. Definitely recommend.

Big problem is there is no volume control - so the party music plays loudly and constantly whenever turned on. For that, a low overall rating.Other points: crane drops well onto the ground surface (unlike the large ones) - so getting prizes is easy but aligning to test skill is pretty meaningless. Coin slot-activated... son realized you can just swipe a piece of paper to activate.I'm surprised my son didn't tire of this more quickly... but he did even say it wasn't a good purchase (he used Xmas money he got).

The sound is absolutely abnoxious after a while and there is no way to use the machine without the sound blasting. (Or in our case, there is no way to try to fix it without sound blasting in your ear). On day one, we set this up for my son, put a small layer of light toys inside and let my son play. On his first turn, the claw moved around, dropped and didn't come back up. We used the instructions to trouble shoot it. They actually said to stick you hand in the hole and lift the chain manually to reset it somehow. #1 my son's hand barely fit in that hole let alone an adult hand so how exactly do they reccoment that. #2 that didn't work. We ended up returning the product.

Purchased the claw toy grabber for my grandson for Christmas. We made sure we had batteries and small toys to go inside so he could play on that day. As soon as he turned it on he moved the claw to the left and then to the right and lowered it to pick up a toy and the claw immediately stopped working. Would not move. After repeated attempts it finally released and he tried again only to have one of the chains to break which prevented the claw from closing. It froze up again and would only move in one direction. He looked up at us with total heartbreak and began to cry. This product should never be allowed on the market with such poor quality. What a disappointment on Christmas Day!! Don't waste your money.

Kids love it but we made the mistake of putting Hershey Kisses in it because we didn't have any little toys yet and they put their hand up the downshoot and stole the kisses! It's great if they don't cheat. They get prices, then put them back and try again.

My kids love this. I would return it if my kids didn't love playing with it so much because it was not as it said in the description. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise. We thought it was blue and had LED lights, but it doesn't.

This claw machine exceeded our expectations! We have had earlier generations for several years and anyone who has used one knows how loud the music was. If you are the one not playing it, it is even more obnoxious! This claw machine works great AND has a on off switch for the sound!!!! If you could add a power supply option that would be fantastic!!
