Thumb Pain Relief Splint in carbon design. The TPS is made of a thermoplastic material with a foam liner for your comfort. It is water resistant and latex free. The TPS locks the base of the thumb while allowing some movement at the end of the thumb. It also allows finger and wrist movement. The TPS supports and protects the thumb to relieve pain and promote healing. Use the TPS for chronic thumb joint pain caused by De Quervain’s Syndrome, tendonitis, Mommy’s Thumb, Gamers’ Thumb, arthritis, or any repetitive stress injury of the thumb. Great splint, look at this one first !
As a physical therapist, I have seen many splints and wraps, but this one is both functional and looks great. Easily adjustable; just be sure to measure and use their sizing guide. Clear instructions for wear and how to inspect your skin included. Will be easy to clean. I have been using mine for almost a week and it is a great way to keep my thumb in a restful position while being able to use my hand.

Didn't stabilize thumb
Did not help to stabilize my thumb because the only thing that keeps it from moving is a little reovable feltcro strap that wraps around the inside of thumb. Plus, I have small hands, but this brace felt as if it was smashed down from the top, which made it feel like the plastic was caving into the top of my hand.
