You must also buy the remote with this product. I apparently missed this in the description, but after getting it and setting it up, I accidentally set it off. Now it continues to chime on battery power until I buy the remote and turn off the alarm. After removing it, I am now keeping it wrapped in sweatshirts in the trunk of my car.It is nice, well made, and works well. the alarm is loud and persistent. but the whole waiting with an alarm going off for 2 days, can't give more than 2 stars.Edit: remote doesn't ship for 1-4 weeks. in the garbage it goes. 1-star.
