In a recent blood test my chlosterol was reduced. I did experience a disturbing side effect - stomach cramping - that I alleviated by reducing my intake to every other day. I have anmother test coming up and that will reveal more.

Been taking Berberine for several years. Great alternative to Metformin. My husband had to get off Metformin because it was damaging his kidneys. Berberine helps keep sugar in check.

This is a high quality supplement that lets me take turmeric along with berberine without any stomach issues. When I try to take turmeric by itself it always makes me have an upset stomach.5/5 as a high quality berberine turmeric and cinnamon supplement.

I think the product is great.

The thing to know about this product is that the Berberine content is only 100mg per capsule (a serving is 2 capsules). It's 1500 mg for the "blend", which includes 1000mg of cinnamon, 300mg turmeric and 200mg per serving of berberine (which is 2 capsules). When I bought it I just saw the "Berberine 1500mg" so that's on me. Thought highlighting these details would be helpful to someone else. Whether it is effective or not yet to be determined. One thing I'm sure of though is that if the recommended dose commonly found online of 500mg 3x per day is accurate, I'm sure not going to take 15 of these capsules per day! I guess there could be other dosages for other reasons that I'm unaware of. I think the gummies on Amazon are much better value.
