Easy to use , works great for regular potato’s , sweet potatoes are to hard. The suction cups didn’t stick to my countertop but it still worked fine. Comes with 2 different size cutters. Regular and shoestring. It will not fit large potato’s , about 4” long max.

Sent this back. The metal can’t support the job it’s supposed to do. The blades fell out and I cut my fingers pretty bad trying to get it to work. Dangerous and cheap, don’t bother. Spend a little more and get a professional one.

I cut regular sized russet potatoes using this and it did cut well but.....sometimes a piece of potato would get caught between the bottom of the cutting grid and the machine itself. If that happens, the potato won't cut all the way through. Easy enough to pull up on the grid and remove the wayward potato piece to finish cutting. I couldn't lock down the cutting grid after I changed it so it probably shifted some when I used it. Also a medium sized potato needed to be cut in half to fit in the spot to be cut.

This saves us so much time when we are making French fries. We eat them way more often now that we don’t have to spend so much time cutting potatoes

I searched for a medium priced product that would be heavy, would not move and would handle any type of potato. The pictured item seemed to fill all my needs. The product I received looked cheaply made, It came with 2 blade units for different size french fries. The mechanism to secure the blades was somewhat complicated but secured the blade OK. The size does not accommodate larger potatoes. The back press had 2 plates, one for each size french fry. It was secured with a rather cheap mechanism which did not fit the unit for the large french fry and I had to use the smaller plate. It is not as heavy as it appears but the suction does work well.

This product accomplishes its purpose: cutting potatoes for french fries. Changing blades is easy as is cleanup. Store it in the box it came in. Well built product. Nothing flimsy about it.

This product does the job. We eat more homemade French Fries than ever, now! As expected, it is a little harder to cut the Sweet Potatoes.

I will give it one star for cutting the potatoes very evenly, but that is it! It's true that at this size the fries crisp up very nicely. But you can't fit a whole potato in there. The clearance to insert the potato is about 4 inches long, but you can't fit a 4 inch potato in there because you have to maneuver it past the safety clip that keeps the blade in place. In the end, even if everything else goes perfectly, you get stuck with a bunch of little baby 2.5 to 3 inch fries! But that isn't even the worst of it!! The dang thing is so hard to use. You struggle to cut even a halved potato so you have to quarter it. And even then the blades may pop out and move one you while you are cutting. At that point it is cutting the plastic plate that pushes the potato, and you edge up with a ton of plastic shavings in your fries! The suction cup doesn't suction to the counter either so I had to hold the machine and push down with all my might, seeing the metal bend, and not cut the potato! So frustrating! It's definitely getting returned.
