Machinery's Handbook,Toolbox & Calc Pro 2 Combo Thirtieth Edition

This handbook was referred to me by class I'm taking for NIMS certifications, it's a nice small size but quite thick. Its well organized,, though, and there are many ways to find the info you need. After using mainly using just a TI-89, I've been really impressed with the functions the calculator includes. The housing for the calculator even has a pocket for a quick reference guide or whatever you can fit into it.

Purchased as Gifts for Employees, as I have been using the Machinery's Handbook since College in the 70's as a Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineer entering the Turbocharger Industry. A most comprehensive reference & support guide, and a great teacher for those who've attended trade-schools and learned through on the job training.

I give the calculator five stars and the book 3. As handy as this book he is I never understand why they don’t print a nice expensive version with decent paper And a larger page size. Some of the reviews say the paper is improved over previous versions if that is the case I would hate to know what the others are made of Because this is some thing stuff. The content is great, I just think myself and others would be willing to pay a premium for a more standard size page version.

Excellent combination, great for any toolbox!

Calculator fell about three feet and screen cracked first time I used it. Would think it would be more rugged because of who and what it is being used for

Great combo offer. Much cheaper than buying separately. Calculator is really handy with machining specific functions and information. I do d have to change the battery in mine just after I got it but they are a disposable item after all.
