The size of these are perfect for my daughter who has short and think hair.

Not the best for long hair

These work great to get my daughters’ hair up for dance class. Both have straight shoulder length hair. One has baby fine, thin hair and the other has extremely thick hair. The trick is to put their hair into a ponytail, then slide the bun maker on. Then I wrap sections of their hair around it, securing with the “bun bobbypins” (not sure what they’re really called, but they’re U-shaped). Then use a hairnet to keep it all in place (I prefer the crocheted ones for durability, but even the invisible ones work). And soak it in hairspray so it doesn’t come undone while they’re dancing ;-PBasically as long as you can get your hair into a ponytail with maybe 4 inches left over you can use this to have a full, beautiful looking bun.

Used these for a ballet bun- worked really well even for thin hair. Stayed in place.

maybe I misunderstood this product. I was looking for a bigger internal hole for more hair, this is overall bigger and too big for my amount of hair. But using it on thinner hair doesn't work either because it is too big for thin hair to cover all the area.

Our daughter is an avid ballet dancer, attempted a different bun maker for quicker use with her long thick hair. Never again. I will forever buy these!

These are the perfect size for my 6 year old daughters hair. They are great for doing double buns on either side of her head or a traditional single bun. She has very fine hair and the color was a perfect match for her hair. I would buy this again

These were exactly what o was looking for. Just disappointed that I had to buy 3 when I only needed 1.
