Just like other pads but tiny, sized for the sweet spot on a drum head. I glued a piece of sheet rubber to the bottom and it sticks to table or countertop well... Would be a smart add by the mfg but I'm plenty happy and fully endorse.

I knew I was always sloppier with my non-dominant hand. But this pad helped me realize instantly that not only was my left hand (non dominant) all over the place, my right hand (dominant) was bang on the money. After a few days of just left hand etudes, and left hand lead rudiments my rudimental skills have exponentially increased. I can play paradiddles cleanly at 145 (a pipe dream a month ago) up from 90. I love this thing. And the fact it can mount to a cymbal stand (how I use it) means it can go with me anywhere. I’m sold. I wish I had started with this pad!
