The package came as expected, unscathed from the usual tumbles and falls that most packages look like they’ve been through. Unboxing the shoes were much like unboxing shoes you buy at the store. I had planned on wearing them around the house to get used to them first but I didn’t have the opportunity. I reluctantly put them in my bag and headed to work(I’m a nursing student and I’m always on my feet). After wearing them for an entire shift on my feet, I have to admit that I was impressed, my feet weren’t in any pain. The foam insole was so comfortable! I have back issues too and shoes are always a concern but thankfully I’ve felt nothing as a result of changing to these shoes. From an aesthetic point of view, they meet the criteria for my college’s uniform parameters but don’t feel at all like the clunky hard nursing shoes that are available to us.
