Great for edging but you must clean it well or paint buildup will affect outcome.

I use this paint guide while painting in acrylics to make straight lines and geometric shapes. It is very straight and meets the surface very evenly. It's also very easy to clean. I can't do without it now that I have it. (Painter's hint: if you accidentally let paint dry on the blade, just use some Murphy's Oil Soap and it will come right off.)

I wanted to like this, but it just turned out to be more work and something else I had to clean up.

It works to some degree. It's great when perfection or quality work is not expected. Paint leaked out to the bottom side especially when wall edges is not perfectly straight or if there is too much paint on brush/guide. Frog tape is still the way to go if you want clean line/edge. This works great if you want to get something like trims quickly when perfection is not of concern.

I didn't know this product existed until minutes before ordering. I've never been able to edge paint well....at all, and have tried what I though were every solution out there. Come to find out this is what was missed.Works well. I definitely recommend it to those of us who need help edging.

Great little tool. Make sure you keep a wet rag handy as the paint does tend to slip onto the back side. As long as you wipe the blade as you go the tool will be a big help. Originally I had used an edger tool but my lines didn't look so great. Lines definitely came out better using this tool.

Kept paint off of my ceiling really well. It's a good size and easy to keep steady against the wall/area that you want to protect from paint. It's a bit delicate and bends easily. I stepped on mine by accident and it bent the corner, but I used pliers to straighten it back out. Good as new.I recommend it, it's worth the money and created a nice tight barrier.

Exactly what I needed for my painting.

Great for small painting jobs, without taping. Just needs frequent cleaning if you use it for bigger jobs

When using it make sure you angle the paintbrush so as not to push the paint under the edge. Plus you must wipe the blade constantly to keep it clean and paint free. I keep a rag and wipe as I use it. It takes some practice but definitely works well and saves time.

Don’t have to use tape everywhere. Just used this to protect edges from the paint. Washes well.
