Title: Foxes in the Woods Valentines Watercolor Poster Print Medium: Watercolor on watercolor paper Size: 11" x 14" This is part of my Valentines Day collection! This poster print of my watercolor painting of a pair of husband and wife foxes who love each other. I used watercolor to paint the foxes, acorn, trees, mushrooms and lined them with color ink. I painted the acorn branch with watercolor and gold ink. I wrote a beautiful love quote with black calligraphy ink in the top of the painting "To the World You May Be One Person But To One Person You May Be The World" which is a sweet saying that I first heard on a subway in Boston during my graduate school days. I was riding the T on a cold winter day and the subway driver said this lovely heartwarming saying to us as we exited the subway to brighten our gloomy day. I hope this painting can bring joy and love to your household. Th white dots in the background can represent fireflies in the forest, or the start of snow in the forest. I just love the woodland nature inspired look of this fox painting with toad stool mushrooms growing on the forest floor. I painted this beautiful watercolor painting on a 11"x14" cold press Strathmore watercolor paper that is acid free, heavy weight, durable.
