Inaccurate and breaks
The thermometer wasn’t very accurate. Then, after a month, it popped off the window and broke.

Bad Thermometer
The thermometer was easy to read when attached to the window. The problem was keeping it stuck to the window. I wet the suction cup & stuck it to the window, a day later it would fall off. I did this a few times & gave up. It didn't appear to be very accurate with the temperature either. When it was hot, it registered 120 degrees, in the morning it was 70. I guess it could be calibrated, but after it kept falling off, I didn't want to bother.

Works well, great for the price
The suction cup has been holding strong for the past month non-stop. It also appears to be quite accurate, as long as it's not in direct sunlight. In the morning when the sun hits it at my house it reads a little bit high, but after that it appears to be spot on. Not many places I can put it that never see direct sunlight. Super easy to read. Another review on here is correct that the low end only goes to -40 deg F, not -60 like the picture shows. I don't personally care as I only rarely see less than 0 degrees F.

A MUCH BETTER alternative to small, hard to read mercury thermometers.
After 7 years, my old mercury thermometer fell of the window and broke (the glass tube which held the mercury broke in half). I don't know why so many people have had bad experiences with this thermometer. If you place it in a good location (not in direct sunlight) and attach it to a clean glass surface (even adding some moisture to the suction cup), I can't see why there would be any problems. After reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive about the spring loaded mechanism, and the accuracy compared to a small mercury thermometer. However I have had this for almost an month now and LOVE IT!-It's very nice to look at (not to bulky, nice rainbow and BIG numbers help indicate the temperate)-You can read the temperature from across the room (so much easier to read than old mercury thermometers)-Its always withing 2 degrees of the actual temperature (way better than my old one)-And finally, its really affordable! If it stops working in a few years, I would DEFINITELY buy another one! It not too expensive ands much better than the conventional stick on thermometer. So far it has given me no trouble, it fact, it's way better than I expected!

Outdoor thermometer with suction cup
Wasn't expecting too much as it was not that expensive but it worked for about two weeks and then fell off the window and broke apart. I put back together and resealed. Re-calibrated with another device I have but seems to not be tracking well after the fall. I would suggest if you use this device be sure to put it somewhere so when the suction cup fails it does not have to fall too far.

Not very well made.
Suction cup not very strong. Fell off the window twice. after it hit the ground the second time it does not give an accurate temperature reading. currently its 67 outside and it reads 91. Its a cheap thermometer and you get what you paid for.

Buy This One for Outside Your Window!
This is a good working thermometer. We stuck this to our window on the outside three weeks ago and it is still stuck, even with a wide range of temperatures -- warm to freezing! The temperature it registers is within a degree or two from the TV/Computer weather reports. We live in Colorado, west of Denver, so had to find a spot that does not get direct sunlight. It is easy to read. We are happy with this purchase.

Suction is poor and temp is always 66
The thermometer loses suction and falls off the window about every other day. Like a trained dog, I clean up the suction and window and put it back up, only to have the thermometer fall off in another day or so. Sigh. Additionally, the temp doesn't change much from a few degrees even though the actual weather is significantly different than what the thermometer says. It seems to favor 66 degrees even though when I check the weather online it says it's 45 degrees. It's way off consistently. I've checked the back of the thermometer to see if there is a way to calibrate the dial. There isn't. This is a junkie piece of junk! Save yourself some money on this cheap product and buy something with 5 stars.
