Porsche Fire Extinguisher Bracket 991 and 996 Carrera, Turbo, GT3, GT3RS

It says it's a "direct fit" , however of you use the instructions it won't hold a 2.5 lb bottle secure enough for my liking. The purpose was to put one in for track days so it's driven pretty hard. Last thing I want is a projectile in the cockpit . I bent the brackets flat and re-drilled them . I mounted them UNDER the front seat bolts, and added locking jam-nuts to all the hardware on the bracket. It still allows for the trim to be re-installed. it's a tight fit to the carpet so it takes a little finagling to get the nuts started. Holds it secure now, even if I end up on my roof. Limits the passenger seat forward movement slightly but I can't imagine a time I would want it up that far in one of these cars. Looks nice and clean like it belongs there.
