Litey Leash Night-time Lighted Leash 5 Feet Long for Dogs up to 90 lbs.

My dog has a very thick coat, so I walk her in the evenings when it's cooler. Numerous neighbors have commented on how nice and bright the leash it, and it does seem to keep oncoming cars from cutting corners and heading directly toward us. However, the leash is only 5-feet long, and the dog and I both much prefer one that measures six feet, since I'm much taller than the dog. The shorter leash length is why I gave this product only four stars rather than five.One thing to note is that the leash turns off after 10 minutes, which is great if you leave it turned on at home by mistake but not so great if you're out walking and it goes off without you noticing.

The leash is too short. Although they do offer the length in the description, it does not come in a larger size than that. We have a Giant Alaskan Malamute who is very strong; they are bred to pull massive amounts of weight on sleds. This leash is good because she can be seen at night, however, it is too short for us to have the control that we need over her when walking her. Excellent idea but they need longer leashes to fit every breed and size dog.

I bought this leash for a Christmas present for my neighbor's dog. We walk our dogs at night and the light from this leash is very bright blue - a really nice safety feature for our dark neighborhood. He's a big lab, so the owners needed at least a five foot leash and something sturdy. It really is working out well.So far there's been no problems with the leash - although I did see that issue raised. It's been used for about a month now. Seems fine.

Great while it lasted. As soon as he could, he pulled it and wires seemed to short out. Now to make it work I have to futz with with cable in just the right spot to get it to reconnect for a bit. PITA

It's not as bright as the green or pink one, but it's still visible in the dark. great for walking at night.

Really bright and a nice length.

Arrived with dead batteries, the opening for the batteries was a little smashed. Would not order again. I saw this used in Charlotte NC and it was an amazing product. Not my experience.

I have many colors of this leach. They are getting harder to find. They seem to last about a year then the lights may go out. You will get a LOT of attention when useing this everyone wants to know where to get one.
