I liked this mascara because it's a natural formula and it's non-irritating. I also really liked that it adds noticeable length to my lashes. I'm not sure if it really promotes strength and growth because I put castor oil on my lashes at night anyways (which makes them grow and thicken). This mascara also layers pretty well. For these reasons, I've purchased this mascara more than once. HOWEVER, it always always.... always!! smudges throughout the day. I'm constantly having to check a mirror to make sure the mascara isn't giving me smudgy dark circles. It even gets on my upper eyelids sometimes throughout the day. So If you have oily skin like i do.. beware :( regardless of skin type if you scratch or touch your eye this mascara WILL rub off onto your finger. When you apply it, it's very difficult not to be a little messy of a process. If you cry or get watery eye'd then it's game over. I now put this under my waterproof mascara from Pacifica but i still have the smudging issue. SO. If you don't mind the maintenance of it, it's a nice organic mascara. If you don't keep a mirror with you all day to keep an eye on it though.. may not be for you.

Nice color, easy enough to apply, and no irritation (for me anyway).I'm knocking off a star because as the day goes on, it tends to run a little bit and I have black smudges under my lower lashes. I got in the habit of carrying Q-tips with me so that I can clean it off. I usually do this 1-2 a day.I'm going to try a couple of other organic mascaras, but if I don't find one that I like better I'll probably come back to this one.

The product actually works really well but it burns my eyes to the point that they are red and swollen which renders it useless.I hope they can find a way to resolve that as I was otherwise pleased with the performance

It's natural, so I'll cut it some slack. It goes on nicely and looks good. My only complaint is that it tends to smear under my eyes as the day wears on, even though I only apply it to my upper lashes. I would buy it again, though, because clean ingredients are important to me, and I haven't found anything better yet.

I warm this in my hands and it’s still a bit clumpy. Nice for the price. My other organic mascara was almost twice the price. We will see how it lasts or will it dry out sooner.

Unfortunately my eyes got itchy and swelled up next day... I will stay away from it. I've been using all the commercial generic mascaras before for 20 years and it never happened before, not with Loreal, Astor, Neutrogena... Sante... The seller resolved the issue instantly which is a relieve... Thanks

I bought this after having a horrible allergic reaction to a drugstore brand mascara, and immediately the irritation went away. It performs similarly to other natural mascaras I've tried, but LOOKS way better. It has a huge impact on my lashes- I'll post pics when I get around to it! I like that it doesn't smudge in the rain, but washes off easily (I use coconut oil as a remover). The tube may not last as long as Maybelline or Cover Girl but that's like comparing an organic pastry to Little Debbie. Natural products have to be replaced more frequently! I would much rather buy this mascara more often and know that what I'm putting on my eyes is safe and healthy and free of cancer causing BS.

I thought I was buying a Dr. Hauscha product, a mascara I'd used years ago that smelled like roses and was velvety on my eyelashes. This one did as all mascara's do which is to dry stiff and hard. And it was difficult to get it off...it does list good ingredients but it was not what I wanted.
