It has held up really well - Great customer service
i've had this for one full season now and it has held up perfectly. unfortunately, during the december freeze, the water in the base froze and all 4 caps cracked. A quick message to Le Conte, and i was sent 4 new caps, their customer service agent, Julie, was fast, responsive and very understanding.Definitely a good product, sold by a good company.

Great customer service but hard to fill with sand
Overall, worth the money.The four rectangle section design is easier to manage than other umbrella bases. Please note, the location of the fill holes made it very difficult to get enough sand in, and impossible to fill completely with sand due to a center placement of the holes. If you don’t need more than 200 lbs of sand weight, or are using water to make up the difference, this is an awesome umbrella base.We also needed to use the pedal riser attachment, but it wasn’t included in the package. Luckily, customer service was very responsive and sent us the missing part!

Very study when filled with sand
After about the millionth time of pushing my knocked over umbrella up I decided to buy this and it was well worth the money! My umbrella has not knocked over since and even have left it up in the rain and wind sometimes! Worth the $!

Pieces do not fit right
The tracks on outer pieces did not fit the base of the umbrella. I’m afraid this will affect stability of the umbrella as the base is not flush with the deck. I wish I had found out about this issue before I filled the parts with 200 lbs of sand and water! A little difficult to fill as the holes are on the sides that are hidden when you put it down on the umbrella and you have to keep shaking to spread the sand inside.I’m upset I got what it seems like a defective unit and I have to empty and waste all the sand I put in to return it! Such a hassle and waste of money!

Missing parts
I got this base on march 6 and it didn’t come with the parts to put the umbrella up. I complaint to le conte costumer service and they said they were going to ship the missing parts. I’ve been waiting for more than a month for those missing parts without being able to put my umbrella up. Very disappointed with the product and the costumer service.
