I parked my 8n nose first into a ditch so the hydraulic fluid wouldn’t leak out. 4 bolts. Comparing the shafts were very similar until you get to the conversion part as expected. Installed easy. Little bit of rotating and a smidge of clutch pedal. I tried to buy the kit that came with cap and gasket, but that fell through on the vendor side. The old cap doesn’t fit the new shaft. Also, the nice looking overrunning clutch I bought didn’t fit by about 1/8”. I had to buy a different style for my brush hog. Mowed the field all summer without any PTO issues. This new shaft takes out all the slop from the original 1-1/8” which was pretty beat up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits 1951 8n.
