Deadpool: Dracula's Gauntlet

Awesome!! I have not had this much fun reading a book in quite a while. Posehn & Duggan absolutely crushed this one out of the park! This book is extremely well crafted from top to bottom!! Geart story, Clean & beautiful art and genuinely witty dialogue. I cannot overstate how great of a read this is. At no point is there a lull or decrease in the quality of presentation. The sections which focus on Dracula are just as enjoyable as those with Deadpool & Shiklah. As a bonus, we get to see tons of Deadpool's sidekicks! Ben Franklin, Bob, Thunderbolts, etc etc. Throw in A.I.M., Hydra and M.O.D.A.K. and this book is a non-stop Deadpool-palooza! This one had me laughing out loud several times! Pay special attention for a delightfully jovial "Inferno" reference!! Basically, I would encourage anyone to buy this book flat out.....with ZERO hesitation! Ona final note, the book itself is beautiful! Marvel does a great job with these Deluxe Hardcovers. Highest Possible recommendation!!

Deadpool gets hired by Dracula to bring his bride back from Greece. The vampire lord needs DP’s help because there are those opposed to the marriage. The problem is the woman turns out to be Shiklah the Queen of the Undead who falls in love with Wade Wilson. That sets the stage for Dracula’s Gauntlet a short mini-series within the DP world. Along the way DP runs into vampires, minotaurs, Blade, ghosts and other magical beasts. The artwork is consistently good and there’s plenty of funny bits in there as well.

Duggan and Posehn are the greatest Deadpool writers ever!!! Seriously, this is a great side story into how DP met his wife. Full of action, adventure, cameos, fun and a few Chimichangas tossed in for good measure. Well worth the $16 as it’s a pretty thick book too. Must have for collectors and a great read. Loved it!!!

One of the best deadpool story arcs ever seeing him face dracula one on one is a sight to behold. Highly recommend

Love Deadpool and this is one of the best stories done about him. These books make light of everything in the Marvel Universe. it's a shame DC doesn't have a character like this one. I hear that they're going to do a movie starring Ryan Reynolds. I think he's funny enough to pull it off. He was too light to be Green Lantern but as Deadpool he can let his sarcastic humorous side come thru and it'll be a perfect fit.

I am so happy that they made a Paperback version of this finally!!! If you are a Deadpool fan... YOU HAVE TO BUY IT AND READ IT! You will laugh your pants off, seriously. I read this book twice in one day, because it was so much fun to read. The story is really well-done and art is also well-done.

It's certainly the greatest romantic fiction about vampires ever written. A tale of a boy who meets a ghoul. It's the twilight of Wade Wilson's life as a single man. But in this vampire love story, the only thing that sparkles is the dialogue.

Missing issues #4 and #5. It just repeats issues #2 and #3 in that spot, very frustrating. Was enjoying the story before that happened.

I openly admit that I never (unfortunately) heard of Deadpool until last year when a friend of mine introduced me to the PS3 version of the game, and I absolutely adored it. Since then and the film's release of Deadpool, I thought I'd get my first digital comic, and am I glad I did!What have I been missing all these years? Merc with the mouth has to be my favourite all time marvel character now, I've not laughed so much for a long time, it's cringeworthy at some points, but so deliciously witty at the same time. I just wish I could have learned about Deadpool before now, but at least I can try and catch up! I seriously can't wait to buy my next one and read what other crazy antics Wade can get up too. I cannot recommend this any better, it's a real gem in the crown of marvel comics.

I’m not really a Deadpool fan but I found this to be a decent read. I’m sure that any fan of Deadpool would find it entertaining.

How did Deadpool meet his new wife? This volume answers it all and then some. Join Deadpool as he is pulled into a thousand year old fued and has to deliver a casket to Dracula before time runs out. When a clash with a Minotaur (that's right) ends in disaster, Deadpool's world is thrown into chaos.I adore this Deadpool story. It's one of my favourites. Beautifully drawn, fantastically written, this volume has all the classic Deadpool humor as well as plenty of heartbreaking and touching moments.

Deadpool became one of my favorite superheroes after playing the amazing video game for the Xbox 360. This comic is an amazing story with great artwork great characters and hilarious writing.

to put it simply the way they have given deadpool a more deeper character in this and yet still kept the fact that he is more madder then a bag full of badgers, is perfectly balanced in a way I would have thought was impossible but they did it with style. this is a must read not just for fans but for anyone who has heard of him.
