Yes!
Daughter loves adventure time. She already owns some adventure time graphic novels. So this was an added bonus to her collection.

Is a fun secret agent parody with Finn and Jake that is overall fun and refreshing. A thing to note is that Ryan North is no longer the writer, and instead is Christopher Hasting. Hasting has work on the previous volume which does explain the drop in quality and why it did not feel like North other Adventure Time work despite his name being on it. While is better then the last volume, it still not at the same level of North work and hopefully it does match his writing. That being said it was a fun book overall.

Great again!
Volume 8 wasn't very good, but this one is great! The one-off adventure is Finn and Jake trying to stop Magic Man from hurting a royal egg child (don't ask haha), and Magic Man leads us on this really cool number trick that connects to the ending. But the main story is even better! I won't spoil it, but it follows Finn and Jake on a unique caper with a bunch of twists and the King of Ooo. Worth a buy!

Ryan North no more
It's not a bad comic book, but I grieve the loss of Ryan North as a writer (who is now doing a tremendous job on Squirrel Girl). The art is always sparkling and good, but to me the plots are a bit too down to earth and the many references to the animated series give the impression that this is a second rate product, while in the previous run you didn't need to watch all the tv episodes to fill at home.
