I buy a lot of tuners. The two things I like about this one or that it recognizes pitches very very fast, and that it has a big display. I have bought a lot of Snark tuners, but they have an ingenious little ball joint that breaks very easily. I'm glad I switched. These recognize the pitch you're playing faster than any tuner I have, and it has presets for most common instruments – along with a general chromatic setting. It's my first day with this tuner, and my only complaint is that you have to guess which side the battery goes in. Since guessing wrong may possibly destroy the tuner, that's a bit of a problem (by the way, the answer is that positive goes up). Very much worth the $10 I paid. I will buy many more of these.

This tuner is great, accurate and extremely easy to use. It tunes 5 categories of instruments so be sure you have it on the right instrument before you begin tuning (lesson learned).

Very handy and quick response tuner. Easy to read, and useful for tuning 6 & 12 string guitars and other instruments.

Its a bit bigger than I expected so I only use it on my ukelele at home. If I am out playing I bring my smaller one. The screen is easy to view and I like how much it rotates in order to best to viewed.
