Fit and Finish
I waited almost a month for this to be delivered. But that's beside the point. The box is very functional and I like the general look of it. However there is a lot left to be desired with regards to fit and finish. The door is warped from front to back. This was probably done by overheating it when the hinges were welded onto the bottom of it. It is visible, but doesn't affect the function as the latches are very adjustable. Several areas of the box itself are also warped. Same thought. Overheating while welding. There was one dent in the box in the center on the back. This has to do with shipping in a very thin,loose cardboard box with absolutely no padding. I'm not sure if this tool box is a second or not. It's possible. The price was good at under $300.00 and it went on an older service truck so it didn't need to look perfect. Aluminum was necessary for me because of the ocean climate. I'm giving it 4 stars because of those reasons. If it were a new truck and I was being particular, I would have to give it a 3 star.

worst workmanship i have ever seen
on this tool box you can see where it is joint. i workman ship is terrible...the worst welding of jointslooks ugly and why would you send that to a customer anyway It leaks when it rains

I've had the box on my truck for 4 years now. It's still in great shape. Best box I could buy for the money

Worked out well
The box came earlier than expected, is light weight, looks good, and is well built for the price. I purchased the box for the rear bumper of my RV. I needed to supply my own hardware but the installation worked out well.

Not like the first one I ordered
Bought 1 a few months earlier and all was good. Waited to order the other box once I had the cash. The first box was great. Nice and straight, and looked good. This box was dented and very wavey. Althought the cardboard box looked good, the toolbox has several dents and wavey all over.

Well......it's cheap.
If you are looking for a side box to carry around styro-foam, you just found it! This item is VERY thin gauge and dents with a good sneeze. Also the aluminum dulls quickly. I don't think I would buy a Tradesman again.

To flimsy
The Aluminum was very light It felt flimsy. I was not your fault but it was too small. I had to buy a bigger one.
