losing intrest in this series!
I still like the story line in the 3rd book, but right away I noticed there is significantly less artwork/pictures in this book compared to the first two. The artwork is one of the main reasons I bought the first book. You got a picture or two with each chapter. With the third one, you can read multiple chapters without coming across any artwork. The pic help with the interest levels for young kids. Because of this, I won't be in such a hurry to buy the fourth one. From what I can tell the fourth book looks like the exact opposite, looking more like a comic book style with talk bubbles and less dialog. This 3rd book may possibly be the last one we read from this series.

Moving, scary, sad, courageous. Very fulfilling final volume.
The final installment in a superb heroic fantasy trilogy. We knew nothing about the cartoons when I downloaded the first book. So glad we didn't. Great writing. Very engaging plot with a lot of action. Scary, moving, sad, courageous. Gorgeous illustrations.

I Look at these creatures differently now
I love this book. It's hard to find anything to dislike about this book. I'm going to buy the three books for my grandson for Christmas, but just like i did with my children, i read their books before or while they read it.

This is the 3rd & final (?) volume in the Kulipari trilogy. I have to be honest: this is a flawed series, mostly but its truly awful puns & wordplay. But is is written for a younger audience that might be amused by that rather than annoyed. This final volume does have a genuinely thrilling & suspenseful ending. On the whole, the series comes off better visually than literarily, so it makes sense Netflix is releasing an animated version ("Kulipari: An Army of Frogs) in September.
