Ameritron ARB-704 Universal Amplifier Interface Buffer

This product worked right out of the box to isolate my radio from the amp. Powered it up and it was plug and play. This Gigaparts shipped it very fast.Extremely pleased.

I purchased this unit after getting an ACOM amplifier and watching it key improperly every second or third attempt.The interface arrived quickly and was exactly as described by the seller. It was easy to set up for my radio, and had adequate instructions for any other unit.When in line the interface worked flawlessly. I no longer have worry about keying problems, and find it works without a hitch.I would recommend this interface for any ham with an amplifier both to prevent keying problems and protect the radio and amplifier.I would buy it again.

This unit simply does what it is supposed to -- it sits between your transceiver and linear and buffers the keying circuit so that there is no chance of the linear damaging the transceiver or vice-versa. By the way, it comes with the necessary RCA cables, which was a nice touch. This unit is small and effective. Anyone running a linear amp should consider using one of these. RJB.
