Takes the voodoo out of truss rod adjustment
Easy to use, just follow the recommended steps and it makes setting neck relief a doddle. Used on a Gibson ES335 and a Fender Precision bass, if I can give a tip it would be to only make small adjustments, no more than a quarter of a turn at a time, let things settle down before doing more.

Works but completely unnecessary
One of my guitars had developed a high action after being stored over the winter, so I did a little research on adjusting the truss rod, watched some videos, and that led me to purchasing this gizmo to check the gauge. In the end I realised how unnecessary it is; at the end of the day it matters only how the action *feels*, not how it measures with some tool—usually you just want it as low as is reasonable without causing string buzz. So, after sliding this tool under the 6th fret and establishing what I already knew (high action!) I just discarded it, inserted the Allen key at the headstock, twisted it a little clockwise, played a little to test it—better but still a little high—twisted it a little more, played a little more again, and found it was all good again. Final step: felt a little foolish for purchasing this useless gizmo.I really can't recommend this. The best way to check your guitar's action is to simply play. If the action feels too high, twist the Allen key clockwise. It it's too low and buzzy, twist it anticlockwise. Lesson learned.

Great product but a tad expensive
Ok so it’s essentially a clean, small set of feeler gauges with 3 blades. It is however free from oils and has some instructions on the back. I initially though the box was empty, so it’s really light and small. It does what it should and is of decent quality. You pay for decent tools, you could use a cheaper automotive set and degrease them, if on a budget. For me it fits the purpose.
