If your looking to upconvert your NES, SNES, and SEGA to digital this is a great product to go with. Picture quality is great, sharp. In comparison I also bought the Mini White Av to HDMI but it does not work for these 3 consoles without having distortion and picture quality is no good. The Akale performs well and the price is well worth it! Highly recommend this product. Device is small doesn't take up much space and comes with a nice thick gauge wire better than your average cable. Decent quality and performs very well. Happy customer!

I bought this item, so that I would be able to play my Wii in my 2017 Pacifica van. I had previously bought the Wii2HDMI device, but upon installing it in the pacifica, the screen would actually turn off and on with any real motion. So the hope was that with this device's switch i could control which version of HD I got 720 or 1080. So i plugged this device in and once again the screen was switching off and on. So i decided to mess with settings and nothing was working. I finally tried to unplug the rca cable and found that it works perfectly with only one side of the sound plugged in (either white or red) but not with both. So I tried the device inside on a different hd tv and it worked perfectly with both sides plugged in. So I figured out that the issue is with the screen in the van not the device. It is working great!!!

The video output of this converter does display on a TV, but that's about the only good thing about it. Even when outputting a simple blue screen with the words "NO SIGNAL" displayed in what should be the center of the screen, the picture is zoomed in and shifted up and to the right. When displaying in 720p mode, about half the picture from the input is visible on screen. When in 1080p mode, it zooms in even further to the point only maybe a quarter of the picture is visible on screen. Also there is a black bar about 15% of the screen height all the way across the bottom of the screen where nothing is displayed, no matter what. Want to watch a movie? Sorry. You're going to miss half the action. Want to play a game? Forget it. You can't see what's going on. Waste of time. Spend more money on something better.

Converter worked as indicated. Used to convert vintage Game Cube to HDMI and connect to Xfinity receiver. I did have to use both connections on Akale converter to make it work; RCA's to HDMI to TV input, and mini HDMI converter cable that comes with unit to HDMI on Xfinity receiver. Can use for any "old school" games systems that need to be converted to HDMI. Not sure this would of worked had I not had a cable receiver with HDMI input. Does not come with HDMI to HDMI cable, only the mini HDMI cable (same output connection as an Android phn charger).

Works perfectly as described fast shipping a good product just a little vague on the instructions I found out that you need more than a phone charger to power the device but overall very good products

This product may potentially work in some circumstances, but definitely work for what I wanted it to do. The intent was to use this to combine an analog video signal from one source with analog audio signal from another source into a single hdmi signal. However, after connecting all the appropriate cables, all that I get is an error indicating no signal from the source. The analog video and analog audio are both there, but no hdmi signal comes from this converter. The screen that is shown indicating no signal is from this converter, not the tv, so apparently it just is not syncing up to the incoming video signal. It may have something to do with audio and video from different sources, but I don't have any other ancient source to try to a single source test. Overall, really disappointed and now I am going to have get more creative to get a simple setup working.

Exactly what I needed. It converted an RCA plugin signal to HDMI. We are using it in our streaming live process. We have an old high end camera that does not have HDMI capabilities. We purchased this converter and it worked perfectly. It saved us having to purchase upgrade equipment $$$. Great converter for the price!

I've recently started my own "Let's Play" channel and bought an Elgato HD60 game capture to record the gameplay. The Elgato works almost perfectly, but it does not record AV based systems aka any console without an HDMI port/ cord. I bought this product to serve as a middle man and so far it works well! The game seems to be somewhat slower, but I believe that to be my own fault in working the equipment. The picture is lovely and what I'd hoped for. I'm happy over all.
