Headphone Adapter

This bumper was an exact fit for my 2003 GMC Sierra Denali Quadrasteer. I was worried that it might not fit this odd-ball truck. The kit included all of the required hardware as well as the plastic skins. As others experienced, the hardware box broke in transit and the nuts and bolts were rattling around inside the outer box. I did reuse most of the nuts and bolts because they came off quite cleanly. I did need the provided bolts for where the bumper attached to the factory installed trailer hitch because the size/thread did not match the 21mm bolts that came off the truck. I also reused the wiring harness for the license plate lights because the original contained 2 more plugs that were not part of the replacement harness. All in all this went well and my son and I were able to pull off the project, laying in the snow, in single digit temperatures. As for lessons learned, we had to completely remove the brackets on one side to get the old bumper off because it wouldn't clear the truck bed, and if you are reinstalling the access port for the spare tire hoist with a new bracket and retainer ring ($37 fro my GM dealer - Ouch!), install the retainer while the new bumper is sitting on the floor. It is a wicked pissah when the bumper is on the truck. The locking access tube can be installed later. I did use a little WD40 to get the tube to slide into the retainer ring.

This was one of the do-it-yourself jobs that was truly a pleasure due to the clearly thought out packaging and included parts. I was missing a nut but that wasn't enough to deduct a star. I simply reused an old one. The brackets are there, the wiring is there, even the little plastic inserts for the license plate are there. You only have to reuse the wiring hangers on the new bumper. I would definitely but this exact same product again. It's definitely not as heavy as the OEM and the plastic just doesn't fit quite as good but this is a must buy if you need a bumper for your Silverado (2006 in my case.)

This is a great looking bumper for the price-not all chrome but enough to make it look really nice. It arrived in just a few days and had no shipping damage. I have 2 reasons for 4 stars instead of 5. There are absolutely no directions included but with MY install both brackets(4 total) were already installed (but with the one set loose and folded back-just had to be swung out for install)directions would have helped as there were 2 more (pair) of large brackets that must be included for other install apps-I didn't need them but that's where a note stating that would have saved me scratching my head to where they went (or didn't). My other "complaint" is the pictures clearly show the plug-in fitting for the license plate lights attached and mine came with just the 4 wires at the end cut off-no plug-in. I had to cut the plug off my old wire harness and use solderless connectors to attach it-no big deal but if it doesnt come with the plug don't show that it does. Besides the small annoyances the bumper fit my 2006 Silverado WT perfectly-all the holes lined up with no problems.

I was pleased with the quality when I opened the shipping box. Rather than installing it myself, I needed some brake work so I hired my mechanic to install it. I received the truck today and asked how it went. The mechanic said the old bolts were hard to remove but installation went well. I joshed him and said the new bumper just would not do -- it makes the rest of the truck look shoddy...

Was surprised to find a bumper for my truck on here. Unbelievable!! This bumper fit perfectly. I mean, perfectly. Looks fantastic. My mechanic thought I ordered it from the dealer it fit so well. New brackets, bolts and wiring all included. Plus free shipping! Awesome deal. Packaging was done very well. Bumper and all arrived in perfect shape. Very, very satisfied with this. If you need one for your Chevy Silverado 1500, you wont be sorry.

The actual bumper is almost identical to OEM. The brackets are made for a 1500. Amazon states this will fit a 2500HD, it will not. I had to use the brackets off the old bumper to get the correct height on the new bumper. The product is as advertised, Amazon needs to update their fitment guide.

For and install was good, 2 people needed. The only problem which doesn’t have to do the product is the retaining clip that keeps spare tire crank in place need to be purchased separately. Certainly not a deal breaker just kept the job from being fully complete. Well worth the cost.UPDATE : 08/20/19 the Bumper is already starting to rust and it’s been maybe 2 months !!!!!! You get what ya pay for .

The bumper looks awesome. I haven't had it installed yet but it looks identical to the original bumper on my 2000 Silverado 1500 LTE.Lots of hadware comes with it. Can't wait to see it installed. Half the price quoted elsewhere!!Update: I had a body shop remove my old bent trashed bumper and install this one. They only charged me $80, well worth it. The bumper looks great! Just like new from the factory.

It is exactly like the original with all fittings, nuts, bolts, lights and plastic trim. It fit perfect and only took a short time to install.

The mounting brackets were the wrong ones for my 2002 2500HD Silverado fortunately to old ones were still in good condition. The plastic covers were not the same as the ones on my truck the top ones had the front flange the ones supplied are flat and the fasteners at both ends were broken off I managed to reuse the old ones.
