but not to the extent that I expected. If you're looking for a product that pumps dust from electronic equipment, I would suggest looking at something else.

Tested this out by opening up my computer and trying to blast out dust the way I would with those cans of noxious air. Result: With some muscle, this pump is just as effective in ridding circuit boards and fans of dust as compressed air. I found short, fast bursts to be most effective. I pumped this thing pretty hard for about 15 minutes and it feels pretty solid and not flimsy. The metal shaft could be a little thicker though and it'd be nice if it came with an attachment to direct air more precisely. Those are negatives. Pros: No waste, no electricity or batteries needed (like with motorized dusters), and you get a work out!

not a lot of power

I purchased this item a few months ago and after using it for just a few minutes, it practically fell apart. Considering the price was practically nothing compared to all competitors.. I didn't even feel the need to request a refund.. I wrote the seller informing them of the issue and simply forgot about it.Today I received a letter from the company (not a template based letter, but rather something that the owner took the time to write himself) as well as a refund and a replacement. The new one that they sent me works great! exactly what I was originally looking for! and the you can't beat the price!I am beyond words.. I would imagine this company is very small, but yet they seem to have far better customer service then the larger corporations that we give money to on a daily basis.I wish I could recommend this product higher than just the 5 stars.As I would imagine most of us do, when looking for products on amazon we really focus on the reviews. I would prefer to get a mid-range product that has excellent customer service, rather than a perfect product that has absolutely no support/response when it ends up breaking or having issues.Considering the level of customer service offered by this company, you have absolutely nothing to lose by purchasing this product from them. Worst case scenario.. if it doesn't do what it is supposed to they will "make it right".Highly Recommended!

Worked ok at first. I like the reusable idea. After about 2 months (I don't clean my keyboard that much) it started making a funny clicking noise when pumped and then eventually stopped working.

It does what it is supposed to- blows air. The product I received had a small crack in the lower section of the shaft, but it really did not affect its strength. It is an effective alternative to disposable and costly compressed air, just as advertised.

I am laughing at this product but only for how it looks. I first thought it looks like a giant green Crayola Crayon. Once this item arrived it looked more like a small bicycle pump! At first I was skeptical if this really was worthy of the purchase. But since I have had it, my laptop has a clean keyboard. The simplistic design and rush of air that comes out with every pump is strong. I pumped this about 6 or 7 times near my keyboard and at each key. What ever was in the crevices of each key the first time I used this blew right off. I used to use my vacuum to clean my keyboard. Wondering if a key would come off and go into the vacuum chamber eventually. Now I don't have to worry about that using this pump.

The picture of the person getting that much dust off that object is very misleading. I bought this to clean the dust of my keyboard, as well as to blow the hairs stucks between some of my Corsair K70 keys but this barely did anything. I purposely went out to the dustiest place in my house to test it, same issue. This pump has the Strength of me blowing candles. The reviews suggested otherwise -. -
