These sponges come slightly presaturated. As soon as one applies saline solution to them, they immediately absorb the solution and slightly expand. They work best when used with carbon rubber electrodes. They provide excellent contact with and conductivity to the application area. Sponges are sold individually and color may be yellow or pink.
