Very solid and nice looking unit. I wasn't not expecting much for the price I paid but was very impressed with the quality. They work well. I did have a few trial and error uses with the different apps I was downloading to try this, but it was the apps fault and not the fault of this VR headset. Once I found an app that was good I was shocked at how well these work. I now understand a little better all of the reaction videos of people using these. I tried a roller coaster app and had an instant head rush. Very fun!

My 10 yo brought to my attention that this doesn't work! It needs a remote or a control button on the side, of which it has neither. Do not waste your money! The apps require you to start the game after putting the phone in and the glasses on. You cannot. You have to take the phone and glasses off, turn it on with the phone, then re-attach it all. By then, the games have timed out.

I've played with google cardboard in the past and thought it was neat but it was annoying to have to hold and, well, it was cardboard. Having one that is made of plastic and has straps to keep on your head was a promising notion.This headset is fine for what it is. The phone slides in the front pretty easily and stays in there well. The straps on your head do not hurt and are fairly comfortable. Where the headset touches your face feels comfortable too.However, on my iPhone 6, you could see the left and right sides of the phone while using the headset. Also, the google cardboard had some kind of magnetic switch that you could use to control the app you were using. This had no such feature and thus there is no way to interact with your app using the headset. There may be bluetooth controllers out there that you could use but that would obviously be an additional cost if you don't have it.So, this looks and feels more advanced than a google cardboard, it straps to your head so you don't have to hold it, and it is comfortable. However, you can see your phone if it is the size of an iPhone 6 or larger and it has no way to interface with your phone (while the google cardboard does).I received this item at a discount in order to test the product. This review is my own opinion and is honest and unbiased.

Like others have said, this really is the best headset for the price out there. No it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, you can't zoom. But you can still immerse yourself in VR! For the price it's amazing. Only extremely annoying con I can list is that sometimes when I slide my phone into the headset it pushes buttons, needing me to take the phone out and get it started again. If you really wanna check out VR before spending more than 20 bucks, I highly recommend this.

For a first time using one it is working just fine... my son wants me to get him one now LOL.

Don't waste your money. This thing makes a View Master look like IMAX. Not even a good toy.

It works. It is okay. Since it is too close, it needs some type of adjustment for the note 5. Might work better on other devices. As far as the quality, I think it is good and light. The strap is adjustable. It was easy to slip on the phone, and yet it fit snug to keep it from falling out. I like the design.

If you have looked in to purchasing a Virtual Reality headset, look no further. While this one may not have all of the bells and whistles other (much more expensive) brands may have, it DIES have everything you need to have this experience come to life, at a fraction of the cost. I especially like the fact that it is universal and will fit any phone. This would be a great option for someone who is looking for a basic model, which performs like anything but basic! I received the product for a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.
