I bought this jump rope to have an extra cardio option for my gym bag. Endless treadmill sessions and the elliptical machine tend to drive me nuts after a while and I do enjoy mixing things up so I figured for the price, I'd take a shot on this jump rope. So far, I'm pretty happy with it.The rope itself has a foam like set of handles that feel nice and don't slip on you if you get a bit of sweatiness in your palms, and you may considering that jumping rope is a great way to work up a sweat pretty quickly. The rope itself is pretty thin and doesn't weigh very much which is good if you're just looking for a speed type rope. If you're looking for a heavier rope, this rope is probably not going to be the best option for you. But I think that this rope is well suited to beginners or for a basic cardio workout.I'm a little over 6'1" tall and the rope seems to work fine for me out of the box, and also will work for me with minor rope adjustments as well. The rope can be adjusted a bit to better suit your height as well, so you have a bit of flexibility.The rope comes with a carrying bag. It's nothing special, but does the job. The rope is compact enough to easily fit in a pocket in my gym bag or to toss into a backpack.For eight dollars, I'm very satisfied so far. I use it a few times a week to add a little variety to my cardio, or do a quick few minutes of warming up before a weight lifting session and find that it does the job of getting your temperature up as well as the treadmill or bicycle if you're getting bored of those. More options are always good to keep you from getting bored.I recommend this if you're looking for an inexpensive piece of cardio equipment.

I received this jump rope right on time. Originally I was super excited about the rope because of the "look" and description of the jump rope. It looks sturdy, heavy, and I was interested to see what the bearings would do for the jump rope all together.Well, the product came in and I wasn't pleased. There is no evidence of bearings. The smoothness of jump rope when in use isn't any more smooth then a Walmart jump rope. The actual rope is not any kind of weighed as you may think reading the description.One other thing I was very unsatified about was the fact that the jump rope came with a small paper on how to adjust the height of the jump rope. I went to the website and all that came up was a spam looking website asking to sign up for free stuff on Amazon, that in itself was not helpful what so ever.Personally, I wouldn't recommend. Especially if you are looking for a heavy duty rope.

This jump rope was what I expected it to be.. Good quality, came in a nice bag. It's nice and long which is perfect to adjust to any height really. I tried it and it was comfortable for me. Then my kids tried it and they were able to wrap it up a little around their hands and it worked out well for them too. It is a great work out if you stick with it.. get's your heart pumping.

Just like the ones from my gym. I recently started at a kickboxing gym so jumping rope is a big exercise there. When I can't make it to the gym, this jump rope is a great thing to grab and get a quick workout in. I've bought cheap plastic ropes from stores before and they don't swing as well and don't have the best handles. These have a great feel, heft and grip. I wouldn't want to use anything else.

Difficult to adjust. The memory in the line stays for months making it difficult to use.
