I bought this product to use for tracing a picture on a backdrop but the room had to be dark and large enough to move around so I could adjust the picture to the right size. It's best to spend a little more money for better quality pictures output. I will say I was impressed when I took it out of the box, doesn't look cheap and packaging was top notch.

I originally gave this projector a glowing review. I would like to retract it now. Just a few months after purchasing it, it began making a terrible noise. After a month of this, it began randomly shutting down. Now, it doesn't work at all! We only watch it once a week on Friday family movie night. Ridiculous waste of money! This company made a foolish mistake by selling me a faulty product because I would have been a repeat customer and I would have highly recommended it to many others.

The media could not be loaded.  Upon receiving this item, the box and packaging seemed really nice. Nice enough to give as a gift to someone and it came packed in a foam shell to protect it during shipping. Taking it out of the box, it seemed more compact than other projectors that I'm used to seeing (like ones at work). It also had better build quality than other projectors that I've used in this price range. It has plenty of connections to get you hooked up and watching TV quickly. The most used port for me will be the HDMI port. I plan to use this as a portable TV viewing gadget, so I hooked up my FireTV stick in the HDMI port to test it out. I was able to start up Amazon Video and start watching shows right away. Controls of the unit are pretty straightforward. I figured it out without even cracking open the manual.The picture quality is decent; what you might expect from a budget projector. It will certainly be good enough for watching stuff outside against the side of the house during a campfire. Its best if you can get the projector aimed as straight as possible. Angle it up too high and the top and bottom are hard to get completely in focus after you adjust the tilt. Sound quality is pretty clear from the built in speaker, but not very loud, so you might want to hook up portable speakers using the headphone jack.Overall, I don't think I could expect more out of this unit for the asking price. Its another toy for me and the family to have fun with and I think we'll get some good use out of it. Please see video review for more in depth discussion about this projector. I APOLOGIZE in advance about the white balance... ugh! My camera picked a bad one and I don't have software to correct it. Should give you a good overview, though.
