Great LED Edison bulb!
The first purchase of this bulb didn't work. Only 2 of the LED strips stayed lit, while the other two flickered on and off. We were bummed but returned the bulb and decided to give it another chance. We bought a second one and it works great. We bought an open glass light for our closet and this bulb looks great in it. I did a lot of research because I didn't want an edison bulb that produced too much yellow coloring and was worried about this one, but it's perfect! I would say it is a soft white. Very happy with the purchase.

Very nice looking, but prone to random flickering
We've had these lights a few months now. They are very nice looking, both on and off. But after a couple months of regular use, they seem to be prone to random, temporary, flickering. In fairness, this could be an artifact of our house's wiring (though the house was built in the 70's). Personally it doesn't bother me, it's so minute and temporary, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't notice it.

The bulbs are great! However, if you have a full enclosure going around the bulb, you will need at least 5 inches of clearance as these bulbs are quite long by design. Great lighting and do not flicker on dimmers.

Flickering and dying early
I got these approx 1.5 years ago and have had nothing but issues them. They constantly flicker and burn out early. In the description they say they last an avg of 50,0000. That would be about 5.7 years of constant on. We buy these bulbs because they are supposed to save money in the long run. Looks like the joke is on us with these!!

Failure rate is too high
The failure rate of these bulbs is off the charts. I purchased 3 cases to outift our new fixtures. They look beautiful, but about 50% of them do not work. Very irritating, buyers beware...

Just don't do it.
In the first several weeks I have experienced a 50% failure rate with these bulbs. No thanks. Found the same type bulbs at home depot, cost the same, and are working out much better. Save your $$$.

Great bulb
Great light. Not to bright not to soft. And no heat which is good because they are in mason jars

Good bulb at a good price
This is a good product, it looks vintage and works well. I only wish you could get these bulb with a warmer output (color temperature), but for now the LED's seem very white to me.
