Love this. Every 6-12 months I buy a new suction cup sponge holder. Sometimes I buy the same brand which I loved but which only lasts several months until the suction cups stop sticking. Sometimes I try a new brand (and then another new one). I must have 15 old ones thrown under the sink which don't work anymore. THIS is genius. And I loved the reviewer who mentioned the idea of putting it in a different place than usual- so I, too, was thoughtful with this. I put it in the front of the sink (the part closest to where you stand), all the way to the left hand corner, which is totally convenient, but also is completely tucked out of sight for those rare occasions when my kitchen is clean and I want everything tidy. Follow the instructions to carefully seat the hook after the sticker is applied and it works fine. I even got away with putting the sticker near the corner of the curved sink surface, and it sticks fine even going slightly into the curve so it's truly in the corner out of the way. Love this. Wish I had found this years ago. If this manufacturer would sell these in Bed Bath and Beyond, I'd have found it years before - rather than finally being fed up with broken ones which sent me searching (deeply) on Amazon for good reviews of a necessary product that functions and is QUALITY. This is it.

Works like a charm!
I purchased this sponge holder several months ago, but waited to write a review until I saw how well it worked and whether it held up under constant use. I was delighted to find that it works perfectly and is still holding tight to the sink. Much better than suction cup holders that invariably fail after a couple of months. I followed the instructions carefully, which I think is the key to getting good adhesion. I've removed the holder several times to clean it, and it goes back on without any problem and stays firmly attached. It's only deep enough to hold one standard sponge or scrub pad, but this is fine with me because I like that it does not jut out into the sink very far where you bump it all the time.

It would be perfect if I could get perfect adhesion!
Despite following the instructions to the tee (clean surface, blow dry surface, etc), I could not get good adhesion. I believe if I got perfect adhesion, this would be the perfect sponge holder. Suction cups only last so long, and the saddle type sponge holders get in the way - this is definitely the way to go.

This is the best idea to keep sponges handy and out of the way. GET ONE!
This is absolutely a great idea. I got one for the sink in the house and then got another one for the camper. It keeps the sponges out of the sink and allows them to dry out such that they last longer and don't smell. Not sure how the sticky stuff works, but it does the job. Had it for months and it's still holding as well as the day it was purchased. The only issue I had was one of the tabs on the plastic holder that holds the metal, broke off. It still holds the metal hanger and a sponge, so it continues to function properly.

This thing is great
I was skeptical that this would stick to my stainless steel sink, but it did and looks great! I've had it almost 2 months and it's still on there solid. Keeps the sponge out of the way and off the counter.Update- almost 6 months later and it still adheres to my sink and looks great. Has really helped keep my sponges cleaner and is aesthetically pleasing. Wish I had invented this.

Exactly what I was hoping for
Tried 5-6 different suction cup holders for our stainless sink and they all would eventually fail. I don't think that will be a problem here with the grip this design provides. Easy install and very low profile that does exactly what it is supposed to. So handy I've already ordered another for our second sink.

Neat, attractive and stable!
I initially ordered this item from Amazon Warehouse deals but it arrived with one of the metal sides broken at the solder joint. So I returned that item and bought a new one. The reason I mention this is because it does indicate a possible weakness at the solder points that needs to be noted. The instructions do say to be careful how you attach the metal bar to the plastic clips. I would recommend that you are gentle with the product to avoid damaging it.Once it's on it's awesome. It fits a descent size sponge and is attractive to look at.

Exactly what I wanted
Purchased to replace a suction-cup holder that was starting to fail after a few months of use in a brushed stainless sink. It's worth mentioning that it holds the sponge much closer to the sink wall, which I really like. Very easy to install: just get the surface really clean and keep your fingers out of the adhesive.
