Bateman Convertible Designer Baby Diaper Bag ( 17x8x11 inch ) with Changing Mat ( 25x31 inch)

I absolutely LOVE this diaper bag!! First off, I had contacted the seller with a question about purchasing this and another item they sell, a travel bassinet and they were incredible! They gave me the best customer service and I would definitely recommend buying from them.Now onto the product, it is smaller than it looks from the pictures but a great size to use in the backpack position. I love that it is a convertible style that you can use as a shoulder bag, top handle carry, or backpack (my favorite). I have 4 kids and have been through plenty of diaper bags, this one is not as plush as some of the others I have had, but it is very lightweight with lots of room and organization and at a great price. A huge plus is the enormous changing pad that it comes with. It is easily twice the size of the normal ones that come with bags measuring 25"x31". Altogether I would purchase this item again and I do recommend buying the Bateman Baby Bag/Travel Bassinet to go along with this. I love having the matching items and I like to leave the travel bassinet in the car so I always have it. Smart Swiss Brands was great and gave me a great deal when I purchased both together!!

Updated Dec 2016 - After 4 1/2 months of regular use, one of the backpack straps tore from the bag. See photos attached. Updated rating to 2 stars as I'd expect this bag to last longer. I'm trying to find out how to contact the company as there is a 6 month guarantee, however the company website is currently "under construction."Original Post - So far I love this diaper bag. We've be using it for several weeks now. It's our fourth diaper bag since kids, so the true test will be how it stands up to time. It's a nice looking bag. It appears to be made with high quality in mind.I found I prefer using a backpack style diaper bag, so I'm not bogged down on one side. But I also like the messenger style strap option too. I'm comfortable using both options with this bag.I use the front, small pouch for diapers, wipes, and portable diaper mat storage. I like to keep these diapering things separate from snacks, changes of clothes, toys, etc. -- which I store in the big/main compartment. The one con is the really super big changing mat included doesn't fit in this small front pouch space, so I use a smaller one from a previous diaper bag instead. So far, that is my only complaint.

I really REALLY wanted to like this bag. It's adorable and the design is amazing. The one thing I could not get past was the quality. I used it for one day and while unzipping a zipper it started to come out of the stitching. I was so bummed! I went home and thought I could just handle using it still but noticed other areas where the stitching was coming out from just ONE day of use! I am not hard on my bags and dont carry heavy items in it. Heaviest thing was my plastic disposable water bottle. I used the messenger strap as they advise to hang on stroller or shopping carts and the stitching I would assume would not hold up a week if that from my experience.I bought this bag because I've always loved the design of Jujube bff's and can't afford their 150$ price tag but this is just such a let down. I'm better off just saving for the jujube because the quality is just absent in this bag.I love the idea and print! Maybe they could rethink the thin fabrics and plastic zippers and they would have a winner!

Great bag; I’ve been using it as a work bag. It looks great. I had to reinforce the backpack straps about two weeks after i started using it, but then it’s full of papers instead of baby stuff.I love the fantastic pockets. The slip pocket holds my Kindle and the front pocket holds the same as a small purse, both without inconvenience or concern. I recommend you buy this! The zippers are strong and the shoulder strap is pleasant to use. The handhold is good. It still looks great and I’ve been pretty hard on it already. Definitely try it out!

I really love this bag. It has plenty of room inside with more than enough pockets of varying sizes. I like that it can hold a lot of things without appearing to be a bulky bag. The shoulder strap and backpack straps are thick and padded. The hardware on the straps seem solid and give the bag a quality look. I love the changing pad. It has easy to clean, water repellent fabric.I didn't rate this '5' stars because of two reasons: 1) The backpack strap came off on the second time I used the bag as a backpack - like some other reviewers have also stated. I was able to fix this in about 10 minutes with a needle and some thick nylon thread. No other seams have unraveled and I use the bag quite a bit, being fully packed, and mostly with the backpack straps. 2) The walls of the bag are a little too soft, so the bag doesn't hold its shape unless you have it fully packed. It really isn't a big deal - but it is one of the few differences between this bag and a higher end bag.Again I was very happy to find this bag and that is was within my budget. It was a good purchase that I won't regret. My favorite part about the bag is that it holds everything I need it to hold, I can organize its content, and it is not a large bulky bag.

I absolutely love this bag!! It's lightweight but well made and looks like it will last a long time. I was worried it wouldn't be big enough but this holds everything that my old diaper backpack held and still has room leftover. The changing pad is a good size too, big enough to grow with her! I took a long time to pick a bag and I'm very happy with my purchase. Great price, great bag!

Looks just like the other convertible designer bags but much cheaper.

It's ok. It's not as big as it looked online but it works. I love the shoulder straps because I can wear it like a backpack while trying to hold my son. The straps are comfortable. It has a lot of room for everything I need with a 15 month old boy. I use it for his everyday diaper bag. I would purchase again.
