Is this backpack good for school? Can it hold a good amount?

Yes! I bought this for my middle schooler and he could fit 4 books, p.e. uniform, lunch, water, binder, and a pencil pouch all in it. It has AMPLE room. It even has a lap top pouch in the main zipper. Plus with the reliability of jansport I know the back pack will last through high school. It is definitely big enough for anything related to school.

Is there a holder for a water bottle on the side? I can't quite tell from the picture.
