I managed to figure it out: the white rectangular fittings slide into place (from middle out to edges) in grooves in the bottom of the hinge-plate. Put the bolts through these first, heads under the fittings and ends pointing away from the seat, and slide into place. You can then fit the seat, putting both bolt-tips down through the toilet and screw the other fitting-pieces on. Hope this helps a few people, but also please start including instructions when you send them out! **Q: Does this seat have plastic or metal fittings?** A: Hi The seat has plastic fittings I hope my answer was helpful.. **Q: Installation guide wasn’t in the package, can you advise how to install please?** A: Fittings are plastic **Q: How do I install this seat?
