Really Nice Production, but Thats About It!
I'm about through with Bigg Snoop. I keep telling myself I'm going to quit buying this man's music after the way he did the 213 album (which was excellent and long overdue), but I keep going back. The highlight on the album is "Real Soon" for obvious reasons (Snoop, Nate, Kurupt & Daz). Couple nice beats from Battlecat & Soopafly. Without production from Daz or Dre (yeah, right), DPGC tracks feel incomplete. The rest of the album is RnB with a couple rap tracks from Tiffany Foxx which is nothing like any of the Welcome to tha Chuuch mixtapes. So, I'll bump it, but it's far from a classic. I like Doggy Style All-Stars better. Hey Snoop, Where the hell is LaToiya Williams?

Bigg Snoop Dogg
Bigg Snoop Dogg literally comes from nowhere with this release Snoop Dogg Presents Welcome To Da Chuuuch. If you had any expectations from this after listening to the first few Welcome To Da Chuuuch mixtapes then this cd will be a huge disappointment. This is coming from one of Snoop's biggest fans...this album is weak. First off, this is a compilation of mostly new R&B artists so if you are looking for an album with more rapping then singing, this isn't it. Second, there are only 13 songs on the cd, and third there aren't any standout songs on this album. As a matter of fact I don't think this cd even has a single. There are some solid songs though such as James - Remember Me, DPGC reunion track Real Soon, 9 Inch Dix (what kinda name is that? They aren't gonna blow up with that name!) - Smokin on My Bud, and JBlack - Sunshine but the rest of the tracks are filler material. The one new rapper Tiffany Foxxx is borderline horrible and her content is really weak. Overall, this is a cd that you can skip out on and not miss too much...hopefully the next Welcome To Da Chuuch will offer something a little more.
