This is a rare design occurrance for me with this collection; the inspiration were the materials themselves and the design of the collection flowed from them. I think rose gold fill wire is my new favorite metal-and it is not easy to come by. It took me over a year to finally find rose gold fill chain which I have used for other pieces in this collection and was very frustrating to the creative process. I think the Collection was worth the wait. It is called Tundra Collection after the Amazing Tundra Sapphires which are the focal gemstones. Shades of golds, yellows, greens, olive, mauve, reds-all shade variations within this one amazing precious stone. Complemented beautifully with meticulously wire wrapped "flowers". The amazing coppery purple keishi pearls are stunning with the Tundra Sapphire. All wire wrapping is done with fine gauge 14 karat gold fill wire; I really love the two tone effect with the Rose Gold. The bracelet itself has been hand formed and hammered for texture and strength. This is a cuff style bracelet and is meant to be gently formed to the owners wrist. Standard size woman's cuff.
