Dance Off The Inches: Latin Cardio Party

Love it
I'm a big fan of Jennifer Galardi and this is not a disappointment. I was hesitant about Emily but I really enjoy her as much as Jennifer. This takes you through three types of latin: Samba, Cumbia and Reggaeton. Samba is nice and slow enough to do but a work out in the arms, cumbia is a bit faster, huge workout in the hips, core area and reggaeton is just fast for me right now. Last two dances will require some work for me before I look descent doing it, but I enjoy the music and Emily has a cute presentation style. This one makes me sweat.

55 year old woman weight lifter/dancer
I previewed the DVD before doing the workout and was THRILLED with everything about its presentation. Emily is amazing - encouraging, enthusiastic and expressive. I enjoy a woman who enjoys what she is doing and wants to inspire and urge other women on and Emily is the best I've seen! She describes the moves as she does them but there is a demo of all the moves which is great to watch first. I like the way it appears to be a slower pace than it actually is, the heart rate does increase nicely! I love Beto and Zumba but Emily is now part of my regular workout/lifting routine. I do a 45 DVD before I lift and am energized and ready to go! At 55 I do have to start off a little slower than younger women but it doesn't take me long before I can go the entire routine without stopping - so I change up DVD's often - I can't stand being bored. Emily is an excellent instructor and I am buying more of her work!

Great addition to my workout library!
This "Latin Cardio Party" is the perfect addition to my workout library and is one of my favorites. It lasts about 45 minutes, it's fun and contains everything you need for a great workout including stretches at the end. Good instructor! She knows what she is doing. Shows the dance moves on the step guide and covers them well. I recommend it for everyone. Good for people that don't want to get down on the floor, all standing and no props needed

I am addicted!
This workout is not easy....that being said, the time flies by while you are having a blast dancing! The instruction is excellent, she is extremely likable, and has a very detailed step guide to start. I actually have to make myself NOT do this every day as I know that I need to challenge a variety of muscles. This is one fun workout! You will be smiling but truly feeling the burn...my muscles ached the next day and I workout every single day! I recommend this for anyone who watches the clock during a workout...you will be surprised when it is over! It is that engaging!!!

It's fun and not too strenuous
I have three Dance Off The Inches videos, and I like all three. I'm a runner, but live in the north and there are times when I just won't risk it with the ice and snow, so I have been doing these to keep fit. It amazes me how strong my core has become by dancing. It doesn't feel like work, but after a few months, my abs are like a rock-and I'm 60!The Latin Cardio is a ton of fun. There isn't anything in it that is too complex or hurts. If you really give it your all, you can work up a sweat, though. Great way to get exercise without the drudgery!

Gives and intense sweaty workout, but not as good as newer Dancing Off the Inches videos.
This video makes me sore in places I never realized....my back and torso definitely have been slimming and firming up. A really good sweaty workout. I love Dance Off the Inches videos. I wish they would make more! There are a lot that are hip-hop, but all the jumping is too hard on my knees. This video does not involve jumping.

Good dance workout
I am a very active person and run most of the time, but I like to shake things up once in a while with some dance/zumba/kickbox routines. This is a fun video that is energetic enough to get my heart rate up and make me sweat. Choreography is fun and the instructor pieces the parts together to make a whole, which makes it easy to learn and allows you to feel accomplished when you put everything together at the end.

Zumba Alternative
Don't want to pay the price for Zumba? Look no further the dance steps in this Dance Off The Inches video are the ones you will find in Zumba. Surprisingly I found the instructional tutorial in this to be easier to understand than the instructional video for Zumba and for the price you are getting a good deal. I own quite a few Dance Off The Inches videos and this one is definitely more entertaining and not as corny as a few in the series.
